At 20:00 we will meet in safety briefing for the information about safety, outlanding conditions and airspace.

The briefing took place and dayly task introduced. Task can be found at SoaringSpot site.

Information to all pilots:
– Registration starts on Wednesday,  July 29, at 11:00 AM in the Competition Office.
– Technical inspection starts on Wednesday, July 29, at 09:00 AM in the Hangar. Technical inspection period is extended till August 1, 09:00 PM.Time can be booked in the Briefing room.

Dear Gliding Friends,
1st FAI World 13,5 m Class Gliding Championships will start in two weeks! We are happy to host this event in Lithuania, Pociunai airfield. The World Championships is the place where the best pilots compete and also the place where gliding industry introduces new models. LAK factory has developed the prototype of new “mini LAK” glider, which already successfully performed in local competition task. The other new glider should come from Poland, G&J Sp. z o.o. factory – it is “GP 14 SE Velo” with a great appearance and specifications. New model is also coming from USA – slim and colour “SparrowHawk R” glider from Windward Performance Ltd. Russia and Italy could present some surprises also …
